Our Vaccine Philosophy

Our practice believes that all children should receive the recommended vaccines according to the guidelines provided by the AAP and the CDC. Vaccines are safe and effective in preventing diseases and health complications in children and young adults. Regular vaccinations help children ward off infections, and are administered as one of the safest and best methods of disease prevention.

We are happy to discuss your concerns about vaccines at your child's next visit.

Want to learn more about how vaccines are developed and made a part of the recommended Immunization Schedule? This 5-minute video for parents describes the journey of a vaccine from development through post-licensure monitoring. Parents can learn about the three phases of clinical trials, vaccine licensing and manufacturing, how a vaccine is added to the U.S. Recommended Immunization Schedule, and how FDA and CDC monitor vaccine safety after the public begins using the vaccine. The content is based on CDC’s infographic on this topic. Please share the video with parents and link to it from your website and social media channels.
